Liz
Schoepke has more than 10 years of experience as a management
consultant specializing in helping organizations improve their environmental,
health, and safety (EHS) and sustainability management systems.
Ms. Schoepke has worked with over 50 companies in a range of industries
including aerospace components, chemical manufacturing, education,
environmental services, government, pulp and paper, pharmaceuticals,
food processing, home and health care products, and automotive products
manufacturing.
Ms.
Schoepke was previously a Senior Consultant at Arthur D. Little,
Inc., Cambridge, Massachusetts, and Arthur D. Little International,
Inc., Brussels, Belgium. Much of her consulting work involved managing
projects for U.S. and European-based multinational corporations
working to build robust management systems. She was intimately involved
in the early development of ISO 14001 through her work with the
European Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS) and the British
Standard BS 7750. She has extensive experience benchmarking leading
corporate environmental and sustainability practices, assisting
with sustainability reports, critiquing EHS audit programs and management
systems, and assessing organizational effectiveness.
Ms.
Schoepke holds a BA in Psychobiology and French from Wellesley College
and a MS in Hazardous Materials Management from Tufts University,
Environmental Engineering Department.
