The Conference Board

• Chief EH&S Officers' Council: Gib Hedstrom has been appointed co-director of this Conference Board Council -- consisting of the chief environmental, health and safety officers of about 75 major corporations. This council has existed for two decades as the single forum for officers and directors of Fortune 500 companies to share information and explore challenges of the day. It is open to members only.

• 2008 Business and Sustainability Conference: Gib Hedstrom chaired the June 2008 "Business and Sustainability Conference," joined by speakers from such organizations as Tuner Construction, Global Futures, Wal-Mart, Coca-Cola, Cisco, Eastman Kodak, and Human Rights Watch.

• 2008 Leadership Conference on Global Corporate Citizenship: Also serving as Program Director for the annual Citizenship conference, Gib Hedstrom welcomed featured speakers from such organizations as Microsoft, Johnson & Johnson, The Conservation Fund, Dow Chemical, Harvard Kennedy School. Carbon Neutral

• Going CarbonNeutral: In 2006 we decided to take additional action on climate change by reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and providing certified offsets for the unavoidable emissions. Publications
